2016 Conference: Latin America – Spirit of Liberation

A World Mission Conference

3rd – 5th June 2016

Keynote speakers:

  • “Spirit of Liberation and Church Growth in Latin America” – Pastor Luciano Pereira, General Secretary of the Council of Latin American and Caribbean Evangelical Methodist Churches (CIEMAL).
  • “Spirit of Liberation through the perspective of the World Day of Prayer, focussing on Cuba” – Rosangela Olivera, Executive Director of World Day of Prayer who will also speak on women in leadership in Latin America.

Workshops will be:

  • Ecology and sustainability in Latin America – Simon Topping
  • The spirit of liberation and church growth – Luciano Pereira
  • The challenge of church unity in Latin America – Leao Neto
  • Spirit of liberation and the role of young people – CIEMAL youth group
  • Latin American worship – Daniela Cardoso
  • Liberation and women – Rosangela Olivera
  • Immigration and one mission- Oseias Barbosa and Roberto Viana
  • Growing a Partnership – Cumbria and Argentina Together – Joan and Ray Wager

All this plus accommodation and food for £120-150 per person for the entire weekend.  If you book before 18th March then there is a £5 discount.  There are also very special rates for young people and children.

Typically, attendees arrive between 4 pm and 6 pm on the Friday and then leave after lunch on the Sunday. However, it is possible to attend part time. All the details are on the booking form.
